About Kadalu
Kadalu is a comprehensive Mobile App solution that helps in keeping track of fishing boats in the sea for Search and Rescue Operations and law enforcement.
Keeping track of fishing boats in the sea is an important exercise both for Search and Rescue Operations and for law enforcement. The proposed application provides an app-based mechanism for monitoring commercial fishing boat arrivals and departures. The application is a part of fisheries enforcement, but also it can be part of overall sea surveillance. The most basic function of the application would be to determine how many fishing boats are in the sea, their departures, passengers, their identification, and log management.
How it Works..?
Fisherman needs to enter his departure and arrival details in the application through his mobile. 
The authorized person of the fishing boat with the mobile app has to submit a departure entry with the details of his travel into the sea.
The details include:
1. Boat No.
2. Date and Time
3. Total number of passengers in the boat
4. Aadhar Number of each passenger
5. Estimated number of days in the sea
6. Optionally a photograph of the boat and passengers.
The mobile app has the option to enter all the information. When the user enters and submits these details, it will be sent to the central server application.
When the boat returns after fishing, the authorized person needs to submit a return/arrival entry for the corresponding departure entry he had submitted using the app while leaving the port. The application automatically captures the location and timestamp of the return entry and sends it to the server. When this entry is submitted, the app considers his fishing journey as completed. Until then, the boat is considered to be in the sea.
The coastal security police officer can search/verify details of any boat along with its travel history and details of the fishermen as submitted before.
Push Notification enables the coastal security police to make any announcements related to cyclones or other warnings.
The Admin Dashboard displays the consolidated data related to the arrivals, departures, boats in the sea, number of users, day-wise departures and arrival statistics, etc.,
