In a breakthrough operation, Bengaluru Police successfully apprehended two property offenders early this morning, thanks to the combined use of Fingerprint Live Scanners and the M-CCTNS App provided by the Department. During routine checking, the police utilized advanced Fingerprint Live Scanners and integrated M-CCTNS (Mobile Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems) to quickly assess the criminal history of the suspects. The swift use of these technologies not only led to the timely arrest but also facilitated a large recovery of stolen assets, showcasing the efficiency of digital tools in policing.

Major Recoveries

As a result of the operation, the police successfully recovered:

  • 90 mobile phones
  • 60 grams of gold
  • ₹30,000 in cash

The total value of the recovered goods is estimated at ₹18 lakh, marking a significant success in the fight against crime.
